Trials and Blessings

Sige Pamilya ko. I am short on time BUT I do want to thank you mom for having most of the kids write a short cute little something. It means a lot to me to see those on here. Also, if you adorable people could forward these on to the rest of the family, that would be da best!
Well, I want to just tell you about my week. It has been super tough this week. Just a combination of a lot of different things. I have been praying so much that my knees are starting to go raw. :/ But thats what its all about. Just this morning after saying a prayer and asking for help.. I felt that I should pull out this paper that I forgot that I had. Here is what was on it.

"Like stones in the river we are tossed and turned. When the current moves so strong but stones in living water over time are shaped until the edges are gone. Polished and smooth thats what we will be if we put ourselves in God's hands. Each day of our lives is a gift from the Giver. To smooth all the edges like stones in the river.
The trials of our lives can work for our good if we let the Saviours love surround us.
-Doug and Sherry Walker.

D&C 122;7
"And if thou shouldst be cast into the pit, or into the hands of murderers, and the sentence of death passed upon thee; if fierce winds become thine enemy; if the heavens gather blackness, and all the elements combine to hedge up the way; and above all, if the very jaws of hell shall gape open the mouth wide after thee, know thou, my child, that all these things shall give thee experience, and shall be for thy good".

I KNOW. That when we go through trials and hardships, that it is because our Heavenly father loves us that He has given us those trials so that we can learn and grow to who He knows that we can become. We have so much potential as children of God. We just need to realize it and to know that everything is for our personal growth if we recognize it as a gift from our Father. I love you all and I want you all to know that I am praying for every single one of you. I love you and I hope that you all have an amazing day and week!
