THINGS I ATE: This weeks eating adventure was "Dinuguan" it is a thick soup like food that is... Pigs blood. With some nice insides of the pig as well. Masarap! (delicious)
Things are going well here though. Everyday I am taught something from the spirit and from the people here in the Lingayan area. This week we were able to go to a less actives home (the member who served us the blood) We were able to teach her about the importance of families and being able to be together forever. As her two daughters bore their testimony, the spirit was so amazing and strong! Guys, the youth are amazing here! They are so strong and they literally hold the church together out here. All of the leaders are super young! And are so strong in the church. They set such a great example to how the youth of the church really should be. They are the future leaders. And it really shows out here in the Philippines.
I want to also share my testimony on obedience from Ryan's letter. Obedience takes dedication and is not easy to be 100% obedient. It takes diligence and dedication. I know that when we have that dedication and drive to be obedient. That is when our faith grows and when we are able to have that faith turn into a knowledge. I KNOW that this gospel is the true gospel of Jesucristo and I know that when we are dedicated to Him. We are promised so much. I want to always have my family with me and to be able to have that faith. Faith is truly hoping for things that aren't seen. Those who say "I will believe once I see" That's not faith. Just like it says in the book of mormon and the bible.
I am so humbled to be out here and to see the things I see and to learn this language.(try)
I love you all so much and want to thank you for the support that you all have given me. I love you guys!!
