Pamilya ko!!!
I know that this is different because its not martes.... pero... I found out some news! So, I will not be going to the Philippines with my district. I have been assigned to the......... Long Beach California Mission for one transfer (6 weeks) I am so thankful that I will not be staying in the MTC. Nine weeks is plenty enough thank you. :) Its really interesting though to see what the Lord has in store for me. I cannot wait to see the people I meet while there! Hopefully I get a Filipina companion or serve in a Tagalog ward.. because 6 weeks of SYLing (Speak your language) by myself... That doesn't sound too fun.
Pero, whatever happens is what is suppose to.
It's been so weird going through our last week here in the MTC. Getting ready to leave and actually travel to the outside world... I cannot wait!!
I want to let everyone know that I love you all and I hope that everyone is doing well. You are all always in my prayers. Dad and Mom, expect a phone call on Monday around 7am if you can get to the phone, please have it on so I can talk to you one last time before Christmas :) I want you all to know how much we are guided if we will listen and if we will act on those promptings that we get. If we have a feeling that is a good feeling, thought, or whatever... That is a prompting that we are given. That second, questioning thought.. That is not from our Saviour. That is us trying to talk our way out of it being a prompting or Satan telling us its not a good idea. Go with that first thought. I promise that we will be lead and when we act, we will be blessed.
